Pro Gamer Move achievement

I already have 4 characters, about to unlock the 5th, but I don't have this achievement yet because apparently I'm not a pro gamer.
I see that I need to keep the tutorial barrel to get the achievement, but can someone please say the exact steps to get the achievement?
I don't want to mess up the achievement on my 5th character because it seems like this achievement is missable. Thanks

You put the barrel in the oil slot and BEFORE the timer is over you take it back out.

yeah, I'd test it with a normal oil barrel first. Forge is currently being really clingy with not letting people take oils and ore back out. Might want to hold off on even doing that achievement until you're POSITIVE that the issue is fixed.
Also, I'm pretty sure you can just wait the full timer for the ore to be forged and not put Glumlee's oil in at all.

That's a good idea to test it without any oil or with a purchased oil. I'll try that first

You can just ignore the oil completely, put in the ore and take out the bar when it's done. That's it.

Yeah there is no descriptive text on the achievement when it's not unlocked yet

Just use the ore and bar that your previous character make. The quest doesn't force you to forge the bar, only to have the bar in your inventory.

Like others have said you just need to not use the tutorial barrel. I'd gotten it just by already having copper bars smelting/smelted and turned in one of them without using it. I didn't even know it was an achievement when it happened.

Just got the achievement :) thanks everyone! I can confirm that all I needed was a copper bar in my inventory. I didn't have to even use the smelter.

I accidentally got this achievement first try, because I didn't notice he gave me the barrel.
