Idleon Fishing Minigame

The fishing minigame (along with a few others) is extremely frustrating and inconsistent. On the left, there is a strength meter broken into 7 sections. It seems that the 3-4 and 4-5 sections in this bar have little to no consistency. There can be 1 round where you get a fish in a single spot and catch it and then the following round, same fish spot, same exact throw and you over/underthrow.

There also seems to be a large difference between fish hitboxes depending on if they are moving and the speed and direction they are moving. This issue, paired with the occasional jittering (likely caused by servers) of the strength meter make for an extremely difficult and unfun minigame. I want to enjoy it. I want to get the Megalodon trophy. All I get is goldfish and a lot of stress.

Please let me know if you've got any advice, other issues or similar experiences to share.

Yes, yes they are. There ARE guides and set up methods for fishing but it will still take a lot of practice. I have not done any of the achieves or the shark trophy for them, i really can't be assed.

As for the server lag, try and do the minigame on the most empty worlds/maps. The bauble needs to touch the pixels of the fish to catch and the gauge is VERY progressive, each bar section has an increasing area in the fishing
