Delete characters?

I saw a reddit post from last year October that the dev was going to add the ability to delete characters. It's about half a year later now.. will this feature ever be added?

It's kinda important to me because I made some early mistakes (bad stat choices) and now I can't min/max those characters ever again. I wouldn't mind not getting the quests back (if you are afraid ppl dupe talent point pots).

No. Once you select your character starter stats, you cannot change it.
Same goes for character class.

Please enlighten me then.

A. How do I change the starter stats I choosen? For example +3 str and +1% total dmg?
B. How do I change the (starter) class? For example change Warrior or Archer into Mage?

You know the tree in W1?
Ever been to the top of it? Literally lets you change out star signs.
Also the star signs you are talking about are early game trash just go unlock the better star signs and swap to them.

As for base classes you unfortunately are stuck with that choice at the moment & I do agree it would be nice to be able to change in either in-game or character deletion.

Here's my main issue after reading up and watching videos on the game i want to start over since i put points in the wrong stats, i haven't played in like 9 months and just wish to restart my character, why is this so hard to just let us Delete character and make a new one, its just horrible design is what it is. Just give Players the option to restart

Did you see any reddit posts about the Squire class and Steam release coming in December 2020? If an update ever came out on time for this game, it would destroy the fabric of space and time.

You can respec the points pretty easily so it is impossible to put points in so badly that you would ever need to delete a character.

Something I'm really curious about with changing star signs is the fuzzy dice one. That one gives you talent points. Do you have to have unspent talent points so it can take the points the starsign gives you back before you can change it from that, or is having that starsign and using the points like having 3 free talent points you keep even if you change it later?

That is a very good question.

I've personally done this, and when you swap away from Fuzzy Dice, it takes 3 talent points away. It can take you into -3 Talent Points, so you would just spend 1 level without getting any new talent points to spend, then carry on normally when you level up the next time.
