Random Gem drop while entering portal

Do you just lose all the premium currency that drops if you enter a portal? I just got an extremely late achievement notification and a bunch of gems dropped right as I entered a portal.... Why have it so you just lose such important currency without warning? It'd be great if those gems appeared in my inventory... not at random times scattered across the map.

I agree: they should go straight into your gem inventory.

Ive just picked up some gems laying on the grounds...
Very strange as a rookie who plays it since one hour.

yeah, happened to me the other day, i got to see them drop and the map changed.
just a whispered "why" deep breathe and walked on.

That's exactly what happened to me the other day. I hope Lava changes it, because it was not a very fun experience to lose a rare resource so unexpectedly.

Yeah that happened to me to. But in the end it's "free" currency.

It happened to me too. I load my first character on pc, I get a lot of achievements from my mobile account and the game freezes completely, so I lose all my afk gains and gems
