Mage's "log on logs" skill

I put 35 points into it, and the skill description says "For 5 minutes, trees drop 79% more logs than normal". But when I am chopping Forest Fibres (chance 60%), I do not seem to get more logs. I only seemed to get 2 logs based on my multi-log chance. I never see any instance of getting more than 2 logs at once (potentially if the the skill and multi-log "stack"). What exactly does the "Log on Logs" skill do then?

Are you sure? because this is the best skill among all classes, try to max it and you will get logs like raining

You are right. The increase in drop is shown when I actually click on the log dropped. Maxed out I can get 6 oak logs in just one sprite -- so 12 oak logs in one chop if multi-log happens! That happens with all the other trees.

I hate that skill, because I log on every 12 hours and it gives me twice more logs than I can carry.

you do realize fishing gives you 200 fish to a fully built barbarian right?
