App in Play store has Offline tag, so they are lying?

it doesnt instantly drop the user if they lose a connection, but data might not be saved if youre offline too long, and i dont think you can do stuff like switch maps while offline either

offline means game continue while you are not playing. your characters farmingg in that map where you left
