Armor showing? biggest turn off rn.

I think the biggest turn off for me is i cant really see the armor or clothes i make for a character its just hats hopefully it gets fixed in future

That's pretty shallow of you; you're dismissing them before you find out if you get to pick out matching purses and dresses for the soldiers.

Did you not think it was odd that none of the characters had body armor in the trailer and in the screenshots on the store page? The dev has answered reasonably. If he can do it, he will do it, but until then he can not.

I'd agree that it's a bit misleading to show the store banner (w/e it's called) with a bunch of armor showing when you're only wearing a hat.

The armor boosts stats thats the main reason obviously, to help with game progression and balance what nots.

There are 146 unique frames for the player. Because of how armor moves with your arms/legs, I would need to draw 146 frames for EACH armor set.

There are something like 200 pieces of armor -- shirt, pants, and shoes.

That would be 29,000 unique frames just for armor to show up, which is 4x more images than their already are in the entire MMO.

Q: But you show the helmet, can't you just do what you did for that, but for the armor?
A: Since your head doesn't move, I only had to draw 2 frames for each helmet -- 1 for climbing up a rope, and 1 for everything else. Since mining/chopping/catchingfishing/running/fighting with a sword/bow/wand/dying all involve different movement of arms (shirt) and legs (pants/shoes), you can see why that would just be impossible.

Is there a smart way to do this? Maybe, and maybe I'll figure it out, and do it :D

It's quite something how toxic some people turn on the spot just because someone doesn't like something as they do. This nonsensical "argument" could have been avoided if you could just accept that different people like or dislike different things for different reason (especially this "Oh but you still comment haha" bs, seriously grow the f up). As long as that person isn't running around trash talking the game/dev or doing sth similar, just leave it be? There are people out there who want to play farming games like Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley/etc but won't play them if there is NO combat at all.
I could go into detail but that's moot.
