2) Unlock the tree in the Slime map and farm the Walking Sticks (need lots of accuracy, they drop plenty of money)
3) Get lucky and find a stack of Average Exp Potions in your guild box (you'd make 7+ gold selling those, but it's the least reliable way due to RNG)
-sell common drops if you can collect them quick enough again so you don't mind the loss
-get money cards (like Baba Yaga, kill as often as possible)
-purchase anvil upgrade early (if you have collected enough non purchased gems), will always be helpful, your archer is the anvil master
Would agree with "SCY" here, though your needs shift several times until end game, earlier you will want to keep a lot of stuff, but you will mostly not need it in huge amounts. So I'd say sell what items from common drops you don't need to badly if you think you can collect it quickly enough again. If you look for drops that have no other use, others have mentioned the stick monster and I'll mention the acorn one above it, the card is also increasing gold and the drop you will only need for 2 uses, and not very much in quantity (well much if you're too early but it is a negligible amount, and as an aside, if you're later into the game you will get literal millions and billions of items and selling stuff will only be useful for making space, it will take a lot of time to get to that point but it is something to look forward to :P)
What's always good is getting cards from monsters that increase dropped coins, like Baba Yaga. Hint: try to kill this as often as possible, much later you will want to have as many cards from everything as possible, and that thing is coming in limited quantities but the card gives you a lot of added money.
As others have said, your anvil will be a good friend to you, whether you sell items or stockpile for other purposes, it will always be relevant. If you have the gems to spare, purchase the golden twin hammered anvil early. (certainly not advising of buying gems with real money, you get enough on the way and in events etc)
2. don't make a journeyman so early 7th character is the absolute earliest you want a journeyman and probably best as your last charecter it just really slows down your account til you can set it up properly
untill you can do gmush kills to raise % money drops you really don't need that much money
