How to delete character? (Made a mistake with name)

I miss named my character now i'm walking around as someone named "ntoyoidj dvtin" i had my hands too far over and misstyped my name and i can't seem to find how to delete this mistake character

Just a thought but wasn't there a report player button from inspect dialog? I never tried that but people could make potentially... "bad" names. If you can also specify why you report him then you could ask someone to hint the moderators for just a name change.

I would't want to keep jumping accounts for an idle game that's just effort, i'll just get to level 5 then make a new character and only use them, that'll work

It's not really account jumping, once you log in to an account in idleon (through steam at least) it'll stay logged in to that account unless you log out of it. I did it when I first played because I made a mistake with my first guy as well.

What i mean is this account in particular is my main account, i wouldn't want to keep signing into that other account to play an idle game that i spend about 5 mins on at a time just to sign back into to this one after i'm done

No your steam account and the game account aren't the same

The account the game links to is completely separate form your steam account. Like mine is using my youtube account which is not connected to my steam account. You don't have to swap steam accounts

If only that was true, you need to re-enter the google linking code each time you login from Steam. At least with browser you don't need to go through that code hassle and it's more automatic.

I've only needed to log in to my google/youtube account once when I made my account, have never had to relog for this game again while only playing through steam so idk what's happening on your end.

This is not a type of game you can rush when you decide to start playing. It is primarily a game that plays itself when you are offline from it. After weeks you'll still feel like a total beginner. How can you make a mistake with name anyway, type it blindly and still hit OK button while not even checking it went right?

only mistake i made in this game for my first few char was not reading any noob intro stuff for it (wasn't to much when i started , now loads with his videos and such) but still here i am with this account and love the game fully.

There is not many permanent mistakes you can make. One mistake people make is put points in capacity for anvil upgrades. That's unnecessary because it goes up by other means anyway. Second mistake is using same statues on several characters, but even that only costs some time spent and is not away from anything.
