No update since August

Honestly its nearly half a year at this point and the roadmap goals seem of the chart at this point and we are missing U15 and U16...

Soonthetik 2 No update 10 months EDITION

This is honestly embarrassing when I think back and devs in summer said it’s all going by plan shortly before they went on vacation and nothing was done to the game. Honestly this is kinda scummy and I would like a refund (shocker I won’t since it’s easier to fill your pockets but don’t deliver - I rly hope the consumer laws get sharpen towards the gaming industry - no other pulls the same ♥♥♥♥ over and over again) if the devs are nearly two updates behind (let’s be real U15 will with some „luck“ come out on the promised U16 release date and U16 will take at least half a year if we go by the fast paced work effort they put in lately). Somehow in the gaming industry it’s fine to postpone while in actual real job branches there aren’t things like „being late“ with work stuff cause otherwise you lose your job - a deadline is a deadline and no excuses or months of shifting the dates around…like what is even the excuse for literally no dev blogs since the roadmap post? The only laughable „progress“ you can read about it is in a thread that is even itself barely updated. I like the game and I thought this dev team would stick to their own made goals but clearly that isn’t the case anymore.

Like many devs today, they make most of their smaller game update announcements/progress updates on Discord, not in the forums.

Please relax a bit.
There have been varied posts and spoilers on discord as it is mentioned in the Forum, if you want more details there is more info there. I also did a good bunch of devstreams, usually on weekends.

This is by far the largest update we have ever done and there are many more things than were mentioned in the roadmap included and many things which were planned for launch only. We understand that its been very long but this is sort of a 2.0 version of the game almost in varied ways so it will be worth it, please be patient. Also we have never promised any specific date, so there had not been a deadline. We have also provided far larger and more numerous updates than you could expect from any other early access, (but to be fair we had of course a bad start, still this is a large exeption and most people would have thrown in the towel after launch but we are spending a crazy amount of effort into making it work)
U15 is adding so many changes in all areas of the game, its just big and we need to wrap up some stuff still, mostly around animations.

So... I don't mind waiting all that much, personally I get it, game dev is an insanely demanding job, what I'd be worried about more is that the interest in the game may fizzle out by the time it's out :/

To be honest when synthetik 2 was up for early access I really didnt like the way it felt but now that I picked it up again I gotta say I feel like they made great progress with the way the game is played and how it feels

If you think this dev is mishandling Synthetik 2 ya'll haven't been through a bad early access and it shows
