Capture watch tower?

So, how do you capture it. I'm staying within the circle, but nothing happens?

Ooops. I'm dumb. I was in stealth mode. Apparently you can't cap while in stealth.

Well you are not dumb. Game does not explain this and for whatever it is worth I dont see a reason why objectives could not be captured in stealth mode.

I had the same issue. The issue of being in stealth is not mentioned at all.

Pretty much. It's not mentioned at all. I stood around waiting for a few minues like a dummy before realizing I needed to take my troops out of silent/stealth mode. The fact that this is never mentioned and this comes immediately after the tutorial tasks us with yeeting a bunch of Bolsheviks in stealth mode is jarring. Did nobody during testing have this issue?

ALSO can you seriously NOT climb up the freaking watchtower?

The game does mention it you just have to click on the info circle whenever the tip comes up on the right to go into the expanded information. I agree that it isn't very obvious though.

Yeah the big red exclamation mark over the icon for Silent Mode is saying "You can't do this because you're in Silent Mode!"

It's a clue... just not a very obvious one.

THAT is the actual problem: That you can't climb and therefore can't stealth kill a watchtower guard. The symbol for a silent kill is there, but if you click on it, your soldier does nothing.

Mea Culpa, but I do usually read. Quite thoroughly in fact. Indeed, I actually read through the guide in the Codex, but this is where Reinforcement and Instruction are kinda important in game design.
