They already added a gem purchase to turn off converters when they hit the cap, so why shouldn't we have a similar mechanism for trading?
Once I do get to the leafcension parts, I could re-select leaf trades when I'm ready to start ascending leaves. As it stands now, though, I'm just getting a lot of wasted trade. Just like I would have loved to be able to deselect those 1 Beer trades early game, I want to deselect leaf trades for the mid/late game, then reselect them when we get closer to the endgame.
IT. WOULD. BE. BROKEN.
Handing the ability to instantly and massively increase the amount of mulch, flasks and gems to people at early-mid stages of the game would throw out the current balance/progression. And while the game doesn't have much of that it DOES have some.
And yes it would be a bad financial decision for the developer as well. Saying that the developer doesn't deserve to be paid for his time and effort is ridiculous. The game is already completely free if you want, and when you reach the last parts of the game you've already got enough to start raking in Gems hand over fist. Feel free to go to work and not get paid if you want. It's a stupid choice, but you can make it if that's how you want to do things.
Finally, the entire game is a grind. It's an idle game. If it stops being a grind, you STOP PLAYING because that's the entire game.
Get over yourself.
