On the one hand, more automation is good. On the other hand, I'd want to have a lot of control over how it works, otherwise it's going to be salvaging cards you want to ascend/transcend, and ascending/transcending cards you want to salvage.
If you could pick and choose specific cards to automate transcension or salvage, I think it'd be great. I'd set most of the Tower cards at the lower three rarities to auto transcend. Though auto transcending wouldn't mean much on its own if you can't autobuy in the transcension shop, either, since one of the purchase options increases Transcension Card Parts from transcensions.
Cards become more powerful as you transcend them, ascending cards make them a more powerful version in the next tier as well. The gains are decent at first and get linearly better as you keep transcending and ascending them. I'd say it is worth it, becomes its own whole thing like the crafting and alchemy and materials over time. All working together to get me closer to floor 100 in the pyramid.
Does it allow you to select which cards to ascend and which transcend?
The only one I really want to regularly ascend is the Witch and Snowman, everything else could transcend and I'd be happy. But I'm so far away from Coal at the moment.
