You don't unlock things like that for 'BLC', since that's an acronym for Big Leaf Crunch, you unlock them with 'BLC Coins'. And I kind of hate that it gets used interchangeably most of the time.
Thanks
They're also wrong because not calling things what they are is the reason why there's confusion when people say 'gold coins' and you have to ask 'prestige Coins or Gold Tokens' because they're both yellow and coin-ish. Along with back when people asked how to get more damage and the answer was 'more BLC' for the equipment damage boost, not 'more BLC Coins' for an upgrade.
People don't always need to be specific. USUALLY it's easy to work out what people mean. But when someone is asking for help it's not helpful when people assume they already know what everyone is talking about because if that was the case they probably wouldn't be asking for help in the first place.
...yes, it's a bit of a pet peeve. I really hate reading guides where people who've been playing a game for ages assume you already know everything the same way they do.
TL;DR - people don't want to admit they expect people who're asking for help to know how to help themselves.
