Are offline seeds bugged when leaf is at 0?

I noticed with gem seeds that if I have 0 leaves and go offline I can come back the next day with only 1 of each leaf. If I go offline but then come right back online I'll get 1 leaf too. But even with 1 leaf my leaves will go to max when offline.

I think it's something with how seeds are calculated. I think that it takes the base value, then applies seeds one at a time to that value to get the final value. However, because seeds increase your leaves by a percent of your existing stockpile, this results in a base stockpile of zero always returning a zero value after seeds are applied, but then gives one leaf as a minimum value for seeds having been applied.

TL;DR, I think it's stupid, but working as "intended".

Depends. Printers, obviously, automatically give you leaves. But that wont help gem leaves. Outside that, not as far as I'm aware.

That's the reason seeds got changed a bit a while back, if you get one and are at zero leaves you will get at least a single leaf from the seed.

This becomes really useful later on, with pyramid chests and 30m time skips.
