Halloween Event Boss Strategy
I am at a loss for how to approach the boss. If anyone can provide me with a strategy, I'd be very grateful! Thanks!

By getting all the upgrades you can for this, including from crafted leafs, you can extend the amount of time you have to deal damage before the boss beats you up.

Eventually the boss will get through whatever extra HP and absolute damage resistance you have, since it will scale damage up the longer you're in overtime, but those extra few seconds can make a difference.
This will likely be more important once we get into higher boss kill numbers.

activate the alb enemy bumper item in the bismuth shop.
get 75 borb o'lanterns from the claw machine and buy the borb o'digs upgrade from the event shop which allows you to dig them up with a shovel. then do that for a while until you can buy a few cursed weaknesses which will increase your damage against the boss by 100% each level. keep trying and hope that you can eventually do enough damage.

good luck, hope that helps. i have faith that you can do it

I feel like you should definitely try to get as many Borb-O-Lanterns as possible and as many increase drop rewards as possible before trying to beat the boss. Because it gets harder each time, you want to get as much as you can in case you reach a point you flat out can't kill it.

Thanks for the advice :)

This is the one use for ALB Pathing. Set it to T Center so they'll actually hit the boss instead of running around it.

If you're pretty far into the game and have plenty cheese and gems, start with borb claw and and get up to 75, then get the dig upgrade from event shop. Max auto dig too and leave it run over night. I woke up with 10k lanterns with 3/5 on the dig upgrade from event store. Currently on kill 16.

The tip above about ALB pathing is great. It'll get you at least an extra 3-4 levels.

What cursed weakness level do you have? I am at 22 and cant even seem to be able to kill the first one, even though I manage to one-shot spark bubble without issues I am not sure what I am missing :C

You'll probably hit 50 at least with your setup now. I'm around e55 dps, haven't beat spark bubble but close. ~25 cursed weakness so far.

I've currently got 25 Cursed Weakness, and 57 kills. The ALB bumper makes all the difference and is definitely needed, and the ALB pathing set to T Center helps a ton.

Since damage boosting leaves have no effect on the event, leaves that max your Relative Damage Resistance to 80%, as well as increase your total health and Absolute Damage Resistance will be a HUGE help as you get more and more kills.

I was getting quite confused because my ALB's weren't doing any noticable damage. Turns out alb damage was turned off xD
