1 minute o.O *starts making leaf essences again*
With that low delivery time I can see bearo being far more useful than my current trade delivery times of 1 hour :P
As for borbs, I can pretty much endlessly taxi pyramid now, which is nice.
As others have said, trade is a major progression point and you can't avoid it. 1000 beer seemed so much back in the day. Now I have 2 billion cheese and 10 million beers. I can't even spend all the cheese and bear on ancient leaves now. Oh and 1 trillion borbs.
Butterfly, Penguino, Bear combo can work over night while you're farming low level pyramid for ancient leaves or doing some other farm. I would run that combo + witch once you're on the essence farming grind as you can have 4 pet, and butterfly will buff witch too.
Then you don't have to worry about the 25k borbs, unlimited farming.
Gems are a limited resource for some people, massive trade deals are not. Buy Borb Taxi LTD. is a NICE upgrade to have, but it's in NO WAY something to get when you've got better things to spend gems on.
The bonus of me being so close was that the damage boost let me one shot the *redacted* too.
Early pyramid its definitely trade level. The start point for beer is like 17. . .but it seems to take closer to level 24 before you start any decent amount. . .and after that you never need it again as far I can tell. Then its all about crafting leaves for damage to finish the tower. . .then witch farming for the rest of your foreseeable life because it always come back to crafting new leaves.
From there you will want a leaf set that has trade global multiplier (and maybe even try the two bingo challenges for extra multipler).
When you do all this you should have higher trading levels, which will net you higher amounts of beer and cheese per trade. Without high trading levels, trades for beer will net you 1 for a long time. Higher levels increase the amount you can get, and the trade global multiplier will also factor in once the trade level is high enough.
Once you get all 100 floors for the pyramid unlocked with your trading, then you should focus on getting more equipment (specifically the cursed cheese one) and upgrade it to level 10 so that way it gives you a 2% boost to damage per curse. The most annoying part about the pyramid will be getting more damage and then later more shards to enter the portal, but i found that getting a craft set with curses per second (note, this is different from curses%), as you can rack up a ton of curses for free damage really fast, ESPECIALLY if there is an event active like nature season or cursed cheese. (Nature season is especially good, you can make a farm field of flowers to boost the amount of curses per second you get.
I think that curses will be more reliable because they still are relevant later and you can do other things while accumulating more curses like upgrading crafted leaves or finding more ways to get curses. If you can you should try to trade for gems or play the claw machine so you can buy the gem upgrade for ancient leaf rewards offline, it will help greatly since it means you can get free ancient leaves as long as you beat your highest floor every crunch (you need to remember this since it gets reset every crunch or prestige). You only need to beat 1 floor to enable the passive ancient leave reward. Even just having a sand leaf craft set with all 1 per second will be better than nothing, and the cursed cheese pet also gives 3 curses per second. Unless you obtain shards you won't be able to up the amount of curses you get per second without an event active, but shards really won't be part of the question until you unlock floor 100 and also can beat the witch. Getting essence from the witch is very vital to progress, and the witch pet is absolutely worth obtaining and upgrading to level 10 asap since the extra essences and curses it provides *ARE* accounted for when you equip craft sets with 'witch essence multiplier' and 'witch curse multipler' properties. Those will make the witch drop more essence per kill, which can then be spent brewing dark matter to later turn into shards or upgrade things each time they reach a 10 level milestone.
While I do think that getting a craft set with 'blower damage%' and 'slap multiplier' helps in the pyramid, you may be crafting and salvaging a lot to get a leaf that has both on it or spending essence to reroll. (rerolling properties is expensive so early on it's prolly better to just scrap and recraft if the leaf isn't ancient rarity) Most craft sets are okay without shards but way better with them, though starting out it is kinda slow to obtain them to put into craft sets for powered up results. A max (10 shard in curse) sand leaf can give you like 20 or something curses per second, which adds up if you can get more in the same set.
