What game mechanic to focus on?

For a while now I've been working my way slowly through the leaf tower (I'm at level 50), and collecting BLC orbs in the volcano. I have 8.5a BLC. My last BL crunch was probably over a month ago. All seeds maxed out.

I have been trading to build up cheese as well, although I wasted a ton on the slot machine trying to get cursed with no luck (is there a way to check how many times you've played the slot machine, btw?).

At this stage, I have spent so long working my BLC number up to this point. At what point should I BL crunch again, and try to do the challenge runs? Should I finish the tower first before resetting? It feels like it took forever to build up my numbers to this point. Is there some other goal I should be aiming for, or is it better to reset right away and start doing runs with the auto-crunch thing on?

For anyone further in the game, what were your priorities at this point?

No, but the Borb claw machine is apparently an easier way to get cursed.

Never. Or, at least, not unless you MLC or do a challenge. Once you start using Orbs to get BLC Coins, crunching becomes pointless (except as a way to get more crunches for damage based off the BLC Ring).

You can do challenges whenever you feel like it, because they don't have any impact on your 'main' game. It creates a sort of sub game for you to play.

If you're still doing the tower, you might as well keep going. The only thing you should be doing is prestige 'crunching', not BLC crunching, to get more coins to spend on fruit trees to speed up Orb spawn times.

At this point for you auto-crunching is something that you could use to get extra crunch counts to increase your damage, it's not something you'd do to get more BLC coins. Just set it to crunch as soon as possible, and leave the game idling for a few days.

It's been so long since I last did a prestige crunch that I can't remember. Do you keep your BLC coins after prestige crunching for coins?

Also if I do a prestige crunch, should I dump all my BLC coins into Prestige+++++++ so I get more coins out of it? At the moment, I've been spending BLC coins only on trading upgrades. Should I just abandon trading upgrades for now and switch to getting coins --> fruit --> faster orbs in order to build up BLC coins faster?

Finally, I understand that there's a new prestige level which artifacts persist through. Should I stop spending orbs of BLC now and start saving them for when I do the new prestige? Or is it way too early to worry about that?

Afk with flocko, raccoono and brobo (if you have the zoo ring and necklace) or penguino any time you go to trade, build up leaves for more prestige coins, get fruit trees as high as you can but divisible by 50 (idk if it only works then or not but it doesnt matter really 50s are what you need to aim for) also buy super durable artifacts from the gem shop if you havent, fruitifacts only effects unspawned fruits and all other artifacts will sit there for 36 minutes leaving BLC orbs the only artifact that can be cooled down, get bigger bag or whatever upgrades you can at -e4 of what your current notation is (eg. current BLC coins are e35, buy till the price shows e31)

They scale of the notation of your BLC coins and tower floors reached (1 for 100 idk the rest), so if you have e20 you will get 20 MLC coins, if you have e50 BLC coins you will get an extra 50

You should only be spending BLC coins on things if doing so doesn't reduce how many BLC coins you get from an orb, because BLC coins are harder to get (and you're getting prestige coins in order to get more BLC coins, so reducing how many BLC coins you get is counterproductive).

Trading is always good, but so is a bigger bag. You bag size determines (sort of) how many prestige coins you get per prestige crunch, with a bigger bag making it easier AND faster to get more.

A simple rule-of-thumb I find is that as long as trading gets you enough flasks and obsidian/benitoite leaves that you have high enough amounts of those to trade for cheese later, that's enough trading.

Also, much like my first point, don't purchase trading or bag upgrades to the detriment of Orb of BLC bonuses. Get more orbs, use them to push you to the next milestone, THEN get the upgrades. It takes time, but you'll be happy you weren't wasting things.

How many MLC coins you get is partially based off how much BLC coins you have when you MLC (along with your tower level, which will be 100 for your first time). So you NEED to use your orbs to get BLC BEFORE you MLC. But you also need orbs for after (because you're collecting them fast now and I really doubt you want to have to do this grind when you have no upgrades) so you can quickly boost your BLC coins later.

For comparison, I'm at ~1C BLC coins, and I'll get 75 MLC coins if I go for it now. If that's not enough, then I need to use my orbs. If it is enough, then I need to save my orbs.

I don't know it it's enough or not yet. Looking forward to finding out at some point!

Probably worth noting that 75 MLC is with x3 MLC gem shop upgrade, which right now it looks like it's best to get that before MLCing (but thats best to do a good bit latter where OP is at)
