Any advice, again
Really trying to make a dent into Bismuth and Obsidian leaves.... like looking to get enough to buy 1 seed in each to get the ball rolling. But they only give like 15k each! it's been open for days both idle and active and I cannot make any dent in these leaves. Have all silicon upgrades and seeds. Have the leaf Tower and Cheese Tavern, but no matter what I upgrade or do this seems like I'll have to leave this open and idle for a few months to get a couple trillion. Any advice?

Trading was my easy way to fully upgrade my bismuth and obsidian leaves. I've MLCed around 3 times by now and every time my bismuth and obsidian leaves were virtually fully upgraded. If you need cheese, then purchase the cheese pub and play the borb claw machine. The borb claw machine has given me 100s of cheeses in minutes. After that, upgrade trading education, leaf trader, and trading certificate. This can give you enough bismuth and obsidian to get seeds.

Trading can help you with literally any leaf besides the gem leaves. If you ever want moonstone or sand leaves, just trade for those as well to get seeds. Hope this helps!

Trading only helps if you've had lots of leaves before. The system was changed so you can only trade for the highest amount of leaves you've previously had (so the best you can do is double it).

The best way to get Obsidian leaves (and Benitoite, which I'm assuming you mean instead of Bismuth) is to learn how to pile the leaves in the center of the screen.

Turn off your ALBs via the main menu option, blow all the leaves into the center so your Lava and Ice leaves merge, then keep doing it until leaves stop spawning. Then blow all the leaves off the screen at once.

This makes the game think that that's your default speed of leaves per second.

Then turn the game off and just wait. When you start the game again (wait a day or more if you have the gem bonus that unlocks offline rewards for multiple days) the game will give you an offline bonus as if you were constantly blowing an entire screen of Obsidian leaves away. Use that reward to buy your seeds.

Then do the same for Benitoite.

In the early stages of Obsidian and Benitoite, offline rewards work better than playing the game. After you have seeds for them things get a little more complicated because their seeds are VERY rare (due to how seeds spawn).

Alright thank you, this makes a lot more sense than a lot of the other stuff I read. Do I need to have the BLC speed adjust thing to do this?

I will try this too. I haven't upgraded my Trades through BLC because I heard doing it too early can F you hard. But I might have to increase the level (when Im sitting at like 10 UVD for most other leaves) and try my luck.

You don't need that AT ALL. All it takes to adjust your speed is a quick prestige or crunch. Or just swapping your tool for something else.

But for piling Obsidian/Benitoite leaves you probably don't even need to do that. Obsidian and Benitoite need a LOT of blowing power to move them, but all the other leaves that spawn don't, so you'll still be able to get rid of junk leaves as long as you're careful about how close you get to your pile of merged leaves.

I am surprised noone actually warned topic creator about seeds he trying to get. You see, Obsidian seeds have 0% drop chance. Actually any merged leaves have that problem, their seeds simply do not exist. The only way to get them dropped is to use offline bonus for seed drop. Now some smart-azz can claim i am wrong, but this man actually reached pyramid and struggled with obsidian at some point. Even if their drop rate is above zero it is so small that i have never got even a single Obsidian seed.

So, your ball not gonna get rolling unless you have 750 fems for seed upgrade or use trading tactic instead.

I've literally watched every seed in the game spawn. Sure offline is faster, much faster for any seeds that do not have fertilizer upgrades for the leaves, but they do exist and do spawn online.

with the new mulch upgrades, upgrade Mulched Trade Caps to even just 10/295 and you'll be able to get trades up to e15 on obsidian and benitoite leaves. More than enough for your first seed.

Seeds don't spawn regularly though as no fertiliser upgrades, so you're better off getting Mulched trade caps higher (say around 20+/295) and trading for e25 of the leaves.

You'll need to unlock an extra level or two of trading education in the BLC shop too, to get these higher trades.

You are wrong. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to get to e300 on both of them idling online. It's just rare and harder to see results earlier on.

Ah! I've been neglecting mulch that's true!
