Celestial to Mythical Grind?

i've been checking out as many guides as i can, and many of them give advice to continue on to mythical leaves instead of trying to grind on celestial leaves. but i'm having trouble even grinding up to the 800m celestials needed to unlock them. any tips, or is it best to just wait this one out?

also, i was under the impression that prestige coins persisted after buying the crunchy coins upgrade, but after grinding to 5A and doing a blc, i was back to 200m, even with all coin autobuys turned off

You only keep your current total coin amount when crunching. Crunchy coins allows you to earn a lump of coins by first doing a prestige run, then carrying those coins into the crunch.

Upgrade you seeds, and upgrade your bag limit.

If you're not doing BLC crunches, you should be doing long seed collecting runs and prestige afterwards. Spend those prestige coins on selectively upgrading Celestial leaf bonus/Prestige coin/upgrade cost/ and converters. During these seed collecting runs just idle in the Celestial zone. Each time you fill up your leaf bag, prestige until coin upgrades are to expensive for you to continue buying them. Fruits can be useful early on for Celestial, but don't rely on them once you start actually buying upgrades.

Crunchy coins has levels. You only keep a small percentage of the prestige coins with the first level.

Make sure your seeds are maxed out (except celestial and mythical, of course) and you have the unique leaves, at least 3 levels of greedy uniques, and pets.

Push prestige coins to at least 100c, and if you cannot, buy more Bigger Bags levels. This should allow you to buy 50/50 levels of Upgrade Discount. With that, it will cost you only 500m celestial leaves. From this position, you should start this run with your prestige soft capped for your current upgrades, wait for the seeds to help you max out your gold leaf combo, then push through celestial to mythical. Once mythical unlocks, you should be able to do the entire tree and max the seeds from the position you've already built.
