Autobuy priority
How to setup autobuy priority?
What "On" means?
Is "On" higher priority then 2?
Is priority as "real number" - so 3 gets bought sooner then 2?

I also would like to know this. The UI could use a tooltip on the button to provide some context.

Also need to know. I'm having problems with having a bunch of flasks but not autobuying independent of priority

Not an answer to questions :-)

As best I can tell, the priority is that anything set to On gets bought first, then 2, then 3, and so forth. In practice, the autobuy just sort of buys whatever it wants most of the time and damned be your preferences.

I have no evidence except gut instinct (and a knack for debugging), but these are my thoughts on this (someone else might be able/willing to try and see if anything holds up in practice):
  • I don't know how upgrades of the same priority are, well, prioritised against each other - I'd assumed that it would buy based on lowest->highest cost, but I think it may be doing something a bit weirder, like waiting until it can afford to buy one of everything at that priority (although that doesn't quite line up with some of my other thoughts)
  • I think how the numbered priority works may be as a modifier to the purchase price of that upgrade, for example, doubling the 'cost' of a priority 2 upgrade, or tripling for a priority 3 etc., then selecting upgrades to purchase based on which is cheapest; alternatively, it might act to say 'don't buy this upgrade until you can afford x of them' (where x is the priority number), which would be similar in effect to multiplying the cost, just on a different scale - what I don't know is whether it then actually buys x of that upgrade, or just 1
  • I don't know if there's potentially conflict between some of the autobuyers (for example, there is, or was, an early option to autobuy Marketing/Fertiliser/Trees etc., but this would seem to overlap with the later BLC autobuy options for specific leaves...)

I know I'm pretty early-game compared to some, but I find if I'm getting bottlenecked by flasks, it's down to the converters not keeping up with demand (usually because I haven't swapped in Bunnyo after a crunch); might be worth checking if that's contributing to your issue

on means that it is on and gets bought before anything else, 2 is the highest priority after "on," 3 is lower priority then 2, and so on.

It seems to bug out if you have something more expensive at a higher priority, waits until you've collected enough to buy the expensive thing, then deals with everything at the lower priority, regardless of if the lower priority thing is ridiculously less expensive.

Also, for some reason, auto buy for pretty much anything ALB or combo related just doesn't work.

It does for me - do you have the leaf-specific (BLC) autobuyer/s purchased? The first autobuyer you get works for all leaf types, but is very specific to the upgrades it buys (doesn't buy ALB/combo/fruit)

Every upgrade have "ON" priority, it just seems bugged

Yeah I have the leaf specific autobuy upgrades, it autobuys everything except those that are ALB and combo related. Probably just a bug

Everything starts with 'on' priority same as they all start with 'inf[inite]' quantity - you can click (left & right to go up/down) on the buttons to adjust
