[Bug] Is it a bug that after a Big Crunch the Coin Shop resets?

After completing my third Big Crunch I found the Coin Shop reset. I even have to "unlock" the "Unlock Areas" for 20 coins even though the V hot bar item is visible and working?

How can I fix this. I really don't want to lose nearly 20 hours of progress.

No, but there is an upgrade in the BLC shop to let you start keeping coins that you accrue which is supposed to help with the reset. The idea is that you buy 1 tier of that upgrade (you don't really need more) then farm a lot of coins in a single round to supply the auto-buyers.

Thanks for the reply! So my 1st and 2nd crunches didn't reset the Coin Shop. Is it meant to reset? I see the "oo" icon on the Shop which I took to mean it persists purchases?

Also makes zero sense for me to be able to use "V" and fast travel between locations if the Coin Shop says I still need to unlock it. It smells like a bug.

If you look at the top of most screens, you'll see 1 to 3 stars (*). They can help show what gets reset when you crunch.

MLC crunches (***) resets ** and * upgrades.
BLC crunches (**) resets * upgrades.
Prestige crunches (*) resets no upgrades.
--Of course current leaf and flask totals will get reset with every crunch, no matter what * level.

Each time you reset something, you should earn enough currency to buy upgrades to help the progression go a bit faster and a bit farther on the same star level and lower. Yes, one will need to re-do some of the gains lost because of the crunch, but they should go faster and faster each time a crunch is done and upgrades purchased.
