Slot Machine vs Claw
Stacking up curses is really important at the end of the tower, but the claw is so time consuming. Does anyone have an idea how often curses do come up from the slot machine?

Once you have thousands of cheese and the ability to get more quickly, is there a threshold where letting the slot machine run automatically becomes viable?

I can't answer your question but the largest amount I spent on auto slots was 600 cheese, got a few leaf jackpots but no curses.

From memory of other threads I have read on the subject, it is thought to be something like 1 curse for every 1.8 thousand cheese worth of spins.

Unless the drop rate changes, it is not worth trying to get curses from the slots.
I had spent about 1 thousand on the slots before the borb-claw was activated and never saw a curse. I don't even play the slots anymore...all my curses are from the borb-claw

There's a sweet spot.

The area you can click in to open the claw machine JUST overlaps the area the button to start the claw machine pops up in, so if you can click in just the right spot you open AND start the claw machine.

Then you just have to glance at what prizes are available, and if there's no curse you just click off to the side of the claw menu to get rid of it and move your mouse back to the sweet spot. You just click back and forth, rapidly refreshing the prizes.

...although the downside to this is you start paying less attention lose some curses completely because you close the window before you spot the curses...

Either way you can go through hundreds of cheese pretty quickly.

The slot machine is never viable for curses.

Even easier: Press Esc to cancel the claw run. You don't have to move the mouse. Sweet spot is on the "y" in Play.

Wait WHAT?!?! I didn't know you could cancel, I know right click starts a new game, but this is game changing for me, thank you and have some points on me.

Never thought of doing this. I tend to play mouse only since I can't be bothered with all the keyboard menu shortcuts, especially since half the things don't have them.

You're going to make me use so much cheese...
