Im aware the rings themselves persist after MLC.

All of the equipment persist after MLC. You just have to unlock the tower again and it will be there

im aware the item itself persists. what im wondering is that the BLC Ring gives you a bonus for every 30 crunches youve made. the big question is, do you keep that CRUNCH BONUS attached to the ring after MLC, or do your crunches just reset?

im trying to decide just how crazy i should go when im able to autocrunch 4 times a minute

You keep all your stats, including how many times you've prestiged and crunched.

You may want to aim for 6k crunches as that seems to be the agreed upon sweet spot, any more and you would be better off farming more rings/cursed cheese with your time.

It doesn't really matter. As soon as you do a Mega Leaf Crunch, you'll just have to do Big Leaf Crunches all over again, so you'll get more and more until you can afford the Crunchy BLC upgrade. I've crunched more than 8k times, and lots of that is just setting the autocrunch and ignoring the game for a while.
