Moonstone leaves

I just unlocked them for the first time, haven't done my 2nd MLC yet. It is taking forever to accumulate them though. Is there a trick to getting more faster? I have been letting it go for a couple hours now and only around 10m, I don't think I can upgrade much even letting this go for a few days. Is there something I am missing, or do I need to just upgrade things through the next MLC round?

Turn off alb's, and equip doggo pet, make sure you have your unique leaf that upgrades combo activated. Get as many combo bonuses as you can.

Here comes the long part. Push moonstone leaves into the center of the screen. Keep doing this until there is a huge pile of them. You should do this for at least 15 minutes but I would recommend doing it as long as you can. Once you have a ton of them, either use the blower control upgrade from the blc shop and turn the power down to like 5%. Try to push them as close to the edge of the screen as possible without blowing them off. Move your character to the opposite side of the screen and right click to lock him in place. Then turn the blower controller to max, unlock your character with another right click and blow all the leaves away.

Alternative method if you don't have the blower controller is to use your hands or a low tier tool to pile them, then switch to your best tool to blow them away.

Now the really long part. Go offline for a few hours and log back in to a nice amount of leaves. Even quicker is to use a time skip from the gem shop. Also the offline rewards bonus from the gem shop will really boost this further.

Once you have enough for seeds, that's all you really need.

Don't stress too much over them, as Moonstone leaves are only useful for crafting (which IS helpful, but if you're not crafting you don't need them).

Today's update put a lot more value on crafting.

Just do trades. Instead of sitting there for hours grinding leaves, you can easily find a trade giving you trillions. As soon as you're in the trillions, IMMEDIATELY go to seeds. Seeds will allow you to accumulate up to the possible limit of leaves your bag can hold. I haven't grinded for sand leaves at all and I barely grinded for moonstone leaves, but thanks to trading I am soon going to get over 10 trillion moonstone leaves and 19.00 A sand leaves. After I get these I'll immediately resort to seeds.
