The message addresses a previous exploit where players could advance their system time to rake in rewards.
This message being displayed during otherwise normal gameplay is not an intentional design choice. And it doesn’t actually effect anything except for the lost time when your system is asleep.
Even more of a reason to not support the dev. Imagine actually trying to patch out "cheaters" of your single player idle game and actually just inconviencing players who want to play in the process. Terrible awful development choice. Could just let cheaters cheat because they're only ruining their own game as it is a single player idle game, but instead we do this
So so happy I never gave any money to the dev. Such a great decision.
10/10 game to abandon and not give the greedy dev anything for
I mean, you must be a very stable genius to crack that conspiracy. Imagine, a vendor selling goods and services in exchange for currency. So greedy! Thank you for opening my eyes to this *egregious* act of malice. Such insight!
Ah okay
I'll remember that I'm entitled to the sweat of my brow and the effort of my labor when I get your children and other loved ones addicted to hard drugs and then cut them off and ruin your lives by then charging them an arm and a leg for what was once free, and not really giving them the choice of if they want to support my vending or not. Either quit something you enjoy cold turkey, take the hit to your wallet, or suffer
I can make terrible strawman arguments too, friend
Crazy how if it was actual drugs he'd be a morally bankrupt criminal, but because he does it with pixels it's not only okay but people like you jump to defend him when he makes changes to try to cripple someone and turn out their pockets
The only difference between the two scenarios other than that is the fact that the pixels aren't addictive enough and sadly the Devs awful plan isn't going to work out for him and he's just going to piss people off with his greed, like myself. Good job!
Their tantrum about this made me realize how good of an idea the devs had, and how good of a job they've been doing in supporting it.
If you develop a game you want to get paid for it don't you? What's the point of making a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game if you don't get paid for it?
Also you realise the game still gains leaves and ♥♥♥♥ WHILE IT'S CLOSED!
I completely agree. It was like that for me with Cookie Clicker, which is INSANELY well done. I loved playing it... up until I found out about the way to cheat the game. That killed it for me, because it defeats the entire purpose of an idling game.
Imagine being so backwards that if the dev didn't force you to not cheat in a game you'd just ruin your own good time and do it anyhow out of compulsive autism
I never once tried to cheat the game, just wanted to idle while I slept. ♥♥♥♥ game ♥♥♥♥ dev ♥♥♥♥ shills defending terrible design choices everywheree
