Efficient way of getting beer?

So I can't get into the pyramid because I don't meet the beer requirements, but I see no real efficient way of getting beer other than trades that take hours for maybe 10-11 beer. Am I missing something? This kinda killed my motivation to even try to keep going if I have to wait 1.5 hours for 10 beer, because getting 1000 is going to take crazy amounts of time.

Working on crafted leaves will allow you to trade for increasingly more beer (and cheese) through global trade bonuses. Eventually, you'll get thousands per trade. You can also cut the time for a trade down a lot through various bonuses.

While you're at a point where the 1000 beer seems out of reach, you have probably not progressed far enough in the game to take advantage of it yet. Make it a goal to work toward and not something you need to do right now.

So what am I supposed to be "working on" for crafted leaves? I've got every upgrade maxed except for two levels in Craft Forge, and some levels in craft hammer in the MLC category. Every leaf I craft is Benoitite, is there some specific bonus I should be looking for?

I was recently able to claim enough beer to enter the pyramid and I believe I have found one of the most effecient ways to get enough;
You need crafted leaves at least bismuth/cosmic level and then get crafted leaves with the "Trading multiplier". Along with this, you also need the upgrade "Trading Education", which you can buy from the BLC-shop. You need this upgrade up to level 20, since beers transcend their trading from 1 to something higher as of this point (To my knowledge). Once you have both of these things you can start trading for beer and hopefully gain enough so that you will be able to get the 1.000 beers needed in a few days...
Also for trading - Remember to equip the penguim so reduce trading time and also complete the trading challenge (will also reduce trading time).

Thanks for the info. I do have all of the BLC trading upgrades purchased and maxed out. I had to re-craft all of my crafted leaves for trading increases and it seems to be a bit more manageable at the moment.

So you don't feel gaslit or anything, I have:
Trade Education = 50/50,
Leaf Trader = 3/3,
(BLC) Craft Hammer = 25/25,
Craft forge = 3/3,
(MLC) Craft Hammer = 12/25,
(Mulch shop) Mulched Trade Caps = 55/295,
(Mulch shop) Craft Hammer = 10/10,

and I can only craft up to silicone leaves. Even with a combined Trade Global Multiplier on those leaves equaling 353% + 315% + 543% + 558% + Trade Scroll, i only get a max of 29 beers per trade. (or 3 million Mulch).

It's brutal... very brutal. Especially since the first 3 dungeons have such a tiny chance of giving you chests.

I am managing 27 and 54 beers on trade now.

Are you using a crafting scroll? I was able to get mostly benitoite leaves with a lot of silicone and maybe 1/20 or 1/25 moonstone at 13/25 MLC craft hammer and before the mulch shop existed, so something is missing. Did you get all of the gem leaf craft upgrades?

It takes a bit of cheese, but it's not that hard to get all moonstone from there, but you have 9 more points than I had at the time assuming you aren't missing them elsewhere. When I added just 2 more points at 15/25, I was able to get Sand leaves rarely, but often enough to start replacing the Moonstones.

My stats aren't drastically different from those listed above, but I have never seen a trade for more than 1 beer. What am I missing?

These are pretty good stats for getting the 1.000 beer. If you still feel its too slow though, then try upgrading your crafted leaves up to level 30 and transcend them. Transcending them gives them a 3.5x bonus.. So if you have a level 30 leaf with a +1k% trading multiplier then it would skyrocket up to +3.5k% (insane boost).. I went from getting 26 beers to around 60.

The pyramid gives the resource for ascended leaves. If he's not in the pyramid yet, that doesn't seem like an option.

e5 cheese trades? Very nice. How many leaves did you ascend to get that? I ascended a sand leaf 3 times so far and I'm starting to see e4 cheese trades. In hindsight, I probably would have been better off ascending 3 different leaves vs 1 leaf 3 times. On the bright side, I can clear well over tower floor 600 now.
