Devs said it will take 6+ months to release version 2.0 also game has 2 factions with unique quest lines so if I was you I would play right now and after 2.0 patch in different faction, different build. But the choice is your.

I've already played it twice. I think I only have one play through left in me before I take a many year break like I do with Gothic 2 every 5 or so years. I'll just wait and check this forum every week haha.

I take 6-7 year brakes currently on specific titles. Waiting for extended edition.

They are working on a large patch that will expand the gameplay but not the story. You can watch the teaser on youtube to get the idea. "The Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos - Mod of The Decade Edition - True Teaser"
