Read the pinned FAQ. There are reports about maximum resolution and it might be possible to change, but you have to do it in the .ini file. Keep in mind this is a 20+ year old engine they are using, so 4k is NOT considered normal.
The intro video size I believe is related to the engine as well, being an old resolution. No idea if it's possible to change, but I didn't consider it a bug myself.
The voiceover in the intro is part of the movie. You have to enable the voiceover in your DLC section on Steam for voices to appear in the actual gameplay. Keep in mind it's only in Polish, but it's still a great voiceover.
Your last bug I'm not sure about, but it sounds like the old "clockspeed" issue older games had. It was even a thing in Gothic 3, where days could pass by in an instant when looking around with your character. This usually required a seperate system install, but these days it appears to have been fixed. I don't know if it's the same on a Mac though.
Thanks for the information.
I need to look more into the matter.
Hopefully others with Apple devices can help.
On Parallels Archolos can't get pas 8-10 fps, Gothic 2 NotR runs perfectly.
2. Not a bug, video must be low-res to work for most people.
3. Download and activate Polish Voices DLC for different languages than Polish.
4. I have absolutely no experience with MacOS, I can't really help.
