I agree that it's absolutely infantile but then so are gamers who have spoiled it for all by trying to offend others they play with. People who get offended too easily have spoiled it for all, not the other way around. You can block and mute people if your feelings are hurt.

There is 0 reason for the filter not to be an option, and there is 0 reason for it to be so ridiculously extensive. If you tried to say "damn, thanks for saving me from the yellow guy, I'm a noob, I was screwed, TY I love you" the whole sentence would be censored lol

Yes, I suppose. We're both right - some folks are too easily offended and others derive malicious pleasure in provoking them.

I guess my solution would be 'stuff it - no filter - if you want to play games with strangers online, get used to it'. But there is no chance whatosever of that ever happening. These same oversensitive folks have 'grown up' and are running the asylum now so instead, we're just going to have to get by somehow and so we have this sorry situation.

When asked why, I replied: "Because it has a tiny hole for an Entrance"

I tried again saying "Tiny hole"

I was censored.

I tried again "Small hole"
