How many episodes?

Hi,
Just trying to figure out how far in I am. I just ended the fifth kid's story, with the somewhat scripted ending, don't want to spoil anything. I read it has six episodes, is that true? I know I can restart it after, just want to know how many episodes there are. Thanks

Sometimes you get an extra episode if you died or were arrested before finishing a crucial episode, but if doesn't affect to the story. If you have completed all of the them, you can expect the 6th to be the last one.

Well second dude I played was like arrested ten minutes in, I screwed that up. As is said, my fifth episode was with scripted ending that centers around a certain character. I started episode 6 at a motel.
It sounds like the game is pretty straightforward after all, not that randomly generated like it sounded at the beginning. It still has the basic story laid out, only the points in between might vary.

Total episodes can be 6-10. The game needs you to make it to the boarder 6 times, but allows you to fail up to 4 times along the way. If you already have been arrested/killed before making it to the boarder too many times your remaining teens will be invincible during the journey.

How does this work? Their stamina wont go down? What about certain scenes where npcs kill you?

Finished it today. Took me seven episodes. It was a good game, but nowhere near like it was advertised. From reading the description of the game you would think it's kind of an endless adventure, procedurally generated. It's nothing like that, not even close. It's just your typical run-of-the-mill Telltale style episodic adventure game, with different paths and endings laid out. Main events are still always the same. It's a good episodic walking simulator, but nothing like it was advertised as.

I mean you accuse the developers for false advertisement.... but idk what ppl were expecting, a game where the narrative is completely randomly generated is kind of impossible to do, from a technical standpoint, imagine all the voice lines they would have to record etc.

I was decently happy with the game we ended up getting, kinda reminds of Life is Strange... and atleast it wasn't as bad as 12 Minutes which was the other game I was hyped for this month and ended up not delivering on half of its promises lol

When you reach 0 energy, instead of police finding you it will be thieves who take all of your money (or leave you alone if you have none). You then quickly revive with 2 free energy.

Not sure about scenes where you can die. For my playthrough none of them generated after 4 fails, so maybe that is the safeguard.
