Does the Demo save transfer if I buy the game?

Just wondering if I should stop and buy it right now as I don't want to lose my progress.

Well someone lied to me so thanks for that. The answer is NO.

Huh. Does it? When I bought the game I had to restart from zero, it didnt give me a choice to continue. Though I am glad, honestly, since I got a lot more exploration done the second time over

Same, tried the demo before buying the full game and upon starting it again from the full version I only had the option for new game. I guess you can move the save file over to the installation path of the full game somehow?

If the demo hasn't been updated to 1.0, it's hard 100% guarantee it won't work. They made enough changes between .9 and 1.0 that it isn't save compatible.

The developer replied to someone else askign the same saying no, the demo is .9 which isnt compatible with the main game

No. It will not. Demo is from the 0.9 build of the game and saves are incompatible.

yeah I just wasted 2 hours last night on the demo, now my evening is redoing it? meh a little lame but I will get over it.

I think the demo has been updated today maybe? I replayed it today and my old saves were gone and they were some changes that I wont spoil.

Anyone tested maybe if recent demo save is compatible with full version? Kinda interested in the game but would like to test demo, and them move save to full.
