Fortified Wall Clarification

What does it mean when the fortified wall says citizens can walk on it? I tried putting squads on it, but that didn't do it. Does it mean your workers can move past it without it blocking their way?

i think you can just have more people in it, the metal one holds 4 and i would think the fortified holds 5-6 maybe more, i haven't built any yet.

I wonder if it'll be a feature in the future, you see people walking the fortified wall in the Trailer.

But you're not going mad, the flavour text for the fortified wall does not match and you can't put squads on it or anyone else

I think you're getting the wall and the tower / gate confused here. The wall, even the fortified one, cannot hold any personnel even though the description for the wall says people can walk on it.

Exactly. That's why I was trying to understand what it meant or was that simply a mistake on their part.
