I can't load my saved games, anyone else whiz the same problem?

If you saved your game while there was random survivors wondering around your base, if they did not give you the Event that they will wish to join you, then do not save up your game. If they just keep wondering around and do not give you the Event, you have to kill them off, or else the save file will be corrupted. Because if you try to save and reload the game will crash, because of the Random wondering survivors event glitches the game somehow.

i may have been affected. after a few saved games i started showing an error on autosave. i tried a direct save and while it created a file it also showed an error message, this could be the same issue

mhm, not sure. l haven't been autosaving at all myself, to prevent having over 60 savefiles, l turn it off from the settings, l still do get autosavings but it deletes the older ones automatically.

But one thing is certain if you have bugged wondering Survivor group walking around your base and you save and try refresh the game, it will not let you play the save file anymore

i have the same problem Kanifeli,i can't load any savefiles, don't care if i saved it or it was autosaved...

Yes, I have also encountered such a problem, after each save can not load the archive. With the new game, 6 squads can only be create 2 squad

I can no longer load any of my save games or start a new game since this latest update.

The max Squads is connected to your HQ, or so people say, So if you put your HQ into big building you get less Squad slots, while butting it smaller building you get more. But l also think its based on your Total Population. If you do not have certain amount Max population, you can not make more squads. l am bit confused how that works.

l do not have any loading issues after turning on the autosave limiter or whatever the setting is called again. It limits how many autosaves the game makes, and that has been helping me loading back into the game. So try use that from the settings.

Same problem here. I can't load any of my saved games. Apparently the problem appeared after a few played games with auto-savings. I have tried as Mr. Oscar proposes (limited autosaves option in settings), also deleted all existing savegames, checked files integrity on Steam (no errors), removed the option to syncronize saved games on Steam cloud, retried a new fresh game and it doesn't change anything...

Will try to uninstall and reinstall the game to see if there is a better result...

mhm.. try delete your older Map data from the areas your been trying to play in
it can also be that the area where your trying to play in haves some issues loading up, or its missing textures or something. As l noticed some places, just miss entire textures on some buildings but this happens quite rarely, so it can also be that. l am not sure at this point l am really not sure anymore what could be the issue..

Try to load your saves in the open beta and see if they work.

I had reinstall the game right after my above message but only with partial success. The game could load again but at the end of it, some colonized buildings just disappeared from the loaded map and one of my squad went flying at the bottom left corner of the map.

One day after (it was last tuesday i think), there was a small patch deployed on Steam and I have no more issues at all since then. No idea what was corrected but now it runs just pretty fine. Will keep you posted if it appears again.
