Any tips on how to find a second car?

I'm enjoying the game so far and I'm confident that it will get better with the next updates. I've already seen several vehicles on screenshots but in my three runs I've only been able to find one car on the map so far. You guys got any tips how to find more?

mine is just go on an expedition and you'll most likely to find many car on the way

I think it depends on location. There are too many cars to count for my squads on the map

There was a video today where one decided to just spend a whole day roaming the map with the car he had, just to look for cars. By the end he had like two tankers, a pick-up, three station wagons and a couple normal cars. Point is, if you can spare the time from scavenging buildings, you can find a lot of them.

I started in my hometown city and did 2 playthroughs, both times 1 car on the whole map. 1 car is a bit on the low side and with expeditions you can wreck a car quite easy.

My current map.. I've found like 6-7 cars.. I thought it was a bit much damn. I am playing in a smaller town in Wisconsin. It has soo much gas and cars. Very few the rest the resources.

In Prologue i randomly went across the map to loot for weapons and when sending the squad with a car to a policestation on the other end of the map, they crossed like 4 cars, while the upper half of the map had only that first starter car.

Only question to me was, how to get another squad there to pick them up without having to walk there.

Send a squad of four in a car to the new car. Split up the squad in to two squads and have one take over the new car. Repeat to get fours cars (or what is there) and then send home and disband the one person squads and then reform a full squad.

I’d send your first car on a joyride over as much of the map as you can even if you don’t stop for it cars you spot will show up on your map. Might depend a lot on difficulty, I played on max resources, and I have more cars than I can use by two or three times.
