What are these Hordes?

I can get past the building the tower quest, no matter how many times I restart. I get about 5 - 8 hordes a night. I get everyone inside, try hide it out or go out and attack.

I loot a billion house, can't find guns to set up towers. Tried building a full wood wall barricade with doors as they have gunners, but still not enough guns.

I even put it on easy, less hordes and still getting bombarded.

Makes 0 sense to not be able to survive at the start of the game.

yeah my first swarm event had 8 hordes in it in night 3 or 4

If you don't have any guns then set your towers to bows and use brick walls with barbed wires.

i've not had it that bad its normally day 7-8ish i get hit but i'd try n find a car on the first day and then rush the gun shops . also the car and be used to attract the swarms to give ur guys more time to shoot .also if u have the guns a squad is better than the tower i'd say as u can stack them in ur HQ /warehouses

Best bet is just use the HQ to fire out of with squads in the beginning. Any buildings that have turned into anything like warehouse, shelter and so forth or in the process (once started) can be fired from with squads since barricaded the hordes can't get inside. Also Barbwire helps a ton around your towers as it slows their movement and they take damage.

We're rebalancing hordes in one of the upcoming updates. Keep letting us know if it feels better when you see the announcement saying that we've improved the balance on this one.

Aye, this seems the best idea at the minute. Depending on where the hordes some from, I just from building to building for the cover.
