where is the "saves" path?

Since this thread is old, you can now change this in the Settings Menu, select Limit Auto Saves, and you won't have this problem.

Once you do this the game will only Autosave every Morning & Night overwriting them each time, so you only have 2 maximum Autosaves. :GravityCat::armchair::kopi:

Even with the limit on they do not overwrite for me.
After a few RL hours there is a tonne of saves taking up space.

Also the limit save doesn't pin in your options, nor does removing "collect data".
Thanks to Thraxinius for that reply, really should be easier though :-)
