Change weapon?

How do i change weapon in the HQ? As in dragging the assault rifle to equip it? Or am i forced to make a new squad?

Im droping gun on the ground and heading into HQ. They are always taking better weapon. It works but it should be better way to manage eq of your squads

have assault rifle, they are not picking up even with method from Pinta

I just found how to do it: Get your squad into the warehouse the weapon you want to equip is, then click exchange from the squad menu, you'll have access to the warehouse inventory. From there you just drag and drop the weapon you want to equip.
