Also checked out parts of San Diego but seemed to get a weird glitch at Imperial Beach, some of the buildings were like lightning bolt shaped lmao. And there was a super market that was about 5-6 blocks long but only 1 block wide. Clairemont was boring and... not really Clairemont.
Yeah, there's several instances where thegame will clump together complexes of structures and it's all one thing. For instance there's a building where it's entirely a liquor store in game but IRL it's a building with several stores. Essentially the game can't recognize malls or strip-shops very well.
it said that it used to be a very populated area in the past: which is true, Recife metro is 3 Million people of population. but i didn't expect to struggle so much to kill the zombies, given how there is ONE police station per neighbourhood and the map envelops 4 (with one being on the very edge of the map, so the police station of there was off limits). there isn't shortage of Food, medicine, or home centers with tools, but the weapons are really nowhere to be seen. realistic i'd would say given how Brazil has a strong anti-gun policy. problem is...the infected are roaming the streets... sooooo....
(also, i have NO idea how anyone would survive in that area or anywhere in Brazil for that matter, given Bunkers and Underground shelters are things unheard of here).
My town also has very few "Police" style buildings, however I had many suburban houses to pillage and every now and then you get good stuff from those. I found that grabbing a large headquarters building is a great idea; the game does not tell you that you initially only have PART of the huge building as your HQ and can eventually retrofit into the entire building so that you can field more squads.
I had that problem when I tried Glasgow. No guns. The university buildings were really cool, it actually got me on google maps looking at the real University of Glasgow. But yeah it was pretty realistic. TONS of research books, not much of anything else.
Hopefully your Recife survivors got to eat some brigadiero before they passed :D
