How to achieve ''I am legend''

i think i need help here coz when i go down 1 its impossible to defend damn HQ when the horde comes is there any trick about it?

My plan is to distract them with a car until dawn, but I don't know if that will work.

Or how about 100 layers of reinforced wall around the HQ? ^^

If you have a car, fill it with gas and cruise around, hoarding just gas in your car and some food as loot?:D
(I did not do this achievement yet:P )

Even better get the truck and just plow em:)

Guys believe me when you try it you will understand my pain now :D damn legend guy cant eat food from your car btw you have to have it in the HQ or Depot :) ok i will try something cheaty. In my city there is marina so i will make walls there and 1 way to defend would be easy i hope i will see

Hmm ok i will try something now. Mid or Late game it seems its impossible coz hordes are coming almost every night. But if i can manage to do this early game maybe in ahuge HQ building i can kill them before they destroy HQ i will try. Wish me luck :)

Just increase resources, lower people and swarm. Find a decently sized HQ. Then find a place that is super small.
Convert it to an HQ. Drop nearby all the steel, wood, bricks you have on the ground. Take inside the food and all that stuff...:)
bring the car around. Now before night falls 3 hours prior make your guy into a squad. Enter it. Cruise around, they will likely destroy your base. Now....go back adapt the super small building into an HQ again -> should be done in very very few hours, since you have the resources near. Drop in to eat your food.
Once done. Create squad, and go cruisin again. :)

took 29 days to make him a lonely wolf. Game needs some balancing realy you cant get killed your guys game is damn too easy :D

ok now i am alone and i have lots of resources so with shotgun i will try to defend now 12 days lets go :D

It is actually quite easy to kill your guys:D You just dont know howXD
(Get the swarm on day 2-4. Use a car to kite them in a neighbourhood with few houses, so one house will have multiple swarms preferably 3. Send in your squads. They get wiped...Next...and so on:D Or you can send your folks to gather on the other side of the map. They never make it back before nightfall and die on the streets:D)

yes!!! :) i have to tell making your people reduce 1 is hardest part. when you are alone hordes are coming 2-3 nights once and easy to kill with shotgun. and 2 fullmoon also helped me nicely thanks :D

Maybe its about last update but infecteds are so easy to kill even with melee. For me best way is find a raider with gun and stay in range with melee like living targets :D

haha yea. wow it was probably the hardest achievement recently. And yea defending a huge building is easier coz i took almost 7-8k damage yet it was half health

Ah, i still did not get around to try it:P
Another Ea title i play also got an update, and there to test out things takese a lot longer.
(Because i have to build new things for which i need to scrape a lot of material together.)
But once i managed to test some stuff out, i'll come and write up my usual how to do it, and how it works comments:D

and if you drive by with a car, you can lure a few of those attacking away too:P
