Those bonuses are bugged, they keep on turning on and off due to some unknown quantity.
Well the game is a heap of bugs, its playable this much is a miracle.
That happens when the game crashes, its not related to bug reporting tool. The bug reporting tool is just what is thrown as part of recovery process. This recovery process which executes on crash clears out your corrupted game session so there is nothing for the game to return to.
You understand that the same bug affects every single game save I have? Not just the game save where the gamed crashed. If I try to load ANY of my game saves I get a a bug reporting tool immediately in my face and no matter what I do with that tool I go back to the main screen.
So if you crash ANY GAME SESSION with the error reporting tool it will affect all current game saves and any new game too.
I don't get Devs that would rather dismiss error reports than actually read the information being offered.
As an enterprise developer myself this is just sloppy work.
1. Are the saves from recent versions (ones released after March 8th)?
2. Have you tried the usual methods (verifying game files, reinstall, checking disk space, checking RAM usage)?
3. I see you've been playing IFZ for some time now, when did the problem start?
4. Have you actually sent us a bug report when the bug reporting tool popped? Then we'd get your logs, save and description, which would be extremely useful to fix this issue.
I would say the RAM usage, disk space is irrelevant since I get the exact same error on my local machine and even on a GeForce Now virtual machine that has just been spun up for me,
On my local machine I could switch to take part in the latest beta version which sometimes gives me access to play a game, but the GeForce version still just shows the bug reporter. On the GeForce the version is 0.25.3.14 17 BETA
I have sent loads of bug reports from the bug reporter since that is the only thing I can do with the game on GeForce.
Also other bugs that happened during the game are still there in both Geforce and local: the biggest bug being that I cannot see the blue ghosts of buildings any more so it becomes imppssible to rotate buildings in tight spaces. Or to match up walls as that blue/red ghost image is not at all visible I can only guess when a construction has succeeded
