Rivers mechanics
I would like the rivers in the game to be impassable or impose a movement penalty when they are not frozen. Vehicles correctly bypass them because they follow roads marked on maps, but zombies and humans can easily cross them. If rivers were impassable or simply slowed down movement, it would add variety and interest to setting up defenses along the riverbanks.

Same for heights, whats the point of building on a big steep hill (like edinburgh) if the zombies ignore it anyway.. some things are just too steep to climb without tools..

This sounds cool! May i add an idea: bridges, you can build them like buildings.

Although this would add a very cool element to the game, I personally don't think it's critical. I'd worry about elevations and water for release #2. The game is really solid as-is; I played it over 30 hours and had a blast. Beware scope creep! BTW, the map I played was Chicago. Thank you!

Yeah, it's not critical, I just like to share some ideas with devs. While the game is in beta, I hope it's possible to make this game more "as I like" by providing feedback :D

Building road and/or bridges or even being able to destruct them, is a valid suggestion, there are many instances where such would be beneficial or even crucial.

Zombies passing water should already slow down (or it is on todo list, but I think I saw them slowing down). And they prefer to use land, most of the time, if there is a connection.

You are right. I thinkl there were problem with my map and the river was not the real river... After I've restarted the game on the same map, I noticed that people and zombies swimming
