When does the doc give you the vaccine?

finished everything sent the 2 squads to the doc for trials yet there is no communication after that? where is the follow up?

There is a countdown icon that appears when you send the squads. Once that completes she contacts you.

I never saw a countdown....im not sure if i caused a issue with the mission prompt as i already had 3 full squads at the location so as soon as the doc got the alpha sample that part of the mission finished with the mission list on the left of the screen having a line through it. i have left the squads at the location for ages come home and gone back but nothing...any suggestions?

do you think its a bug that screwed up the mission as i had them already there?

So when you've sent the 2 Squads (8 people - so 4 in each Squad) you should then get a mission on the left hand side stating "Wait for Trials to end" and the star is not complete and has an incomplete circle round it.

When i got the alpha sample i took that back to the doc i had 3 squads as i usually travel with 2- 4 squads at a time. When i gave her the sample the mission prompter came up for the trial squads and that finished with the line through it but i still had the same 3 squads at the docs location after that nothing happened nothing i do moves it past that point..

How long after you sent the squads have you played? I think it takes a few days for her to come back to you stating that the trials were a success and she is sending the squads back.

Hi....Thats the thing i never got a timer or any communication back from her and while i had 3 squads with me at the location when i handed in the sample it activated the squad part with a line through the task but my squads never actually disappeared i still had 3 squads at the location doing nothing i kept them sitting there for days in the end i went and cleared all the other expedition locations and sent them back to just sit there...at this point there is nothing else to do no story no way to increase population all there is is to explore the other 6000 buildings and kill the raiding parties ...i did get bored and built like 5 layers of barbed wire around my settlement...lol

I just hit the same issue :( now I'm stuck... I can't move forward and have been waiting for multiple days.

After you've delivered Alpha samples, it usually takes 3 days for the Scientists to call you back requesting volunteers. After you send volunteers for vaccine trials, the call with results should happen after another 3 days, once the timer finishes.

This doesnt work. You cant go to the location with a single squad to deliver the sample there is a fight there and i have died from doing so so I took 3 squads to deliver the sample so when the doc took it and the 2 squads were asked and offered they were already there nothing happened no timer the doc took it and nothing happened to the 3 squads i had in the location. I gave up playing as it was really all over ...stuck at 488 pops and no more story or exploration to do. There was never a timer

It doesnt i tried everything . it bugged out and theres no recovery. im not started the game again until its fixed...and stuck at 488 pops is just sad

I did send an in game bug report i think twice. check back on the history....the description the the issue and all the actions that led to the issue from starting that quest to getting the sample to taking it to the doc and all that happened and didnt happen was reported in that bug reports i sent. I hope you can fix it its a great game needs much more depth which im sure you will add over time its needs to be bigger or once people hit that wall where nothing else happens or able to happen they move on. This game has massive potential and looking forward to your success.

We'll certainly fix it once we find a solution! Could you tell me the name of these reports?
