Weapon Stats

Is there any information about the pros and cons of weapons? Should I arm my people with Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles or Shot Guns?

this is what i saw from the the tooltip:

PISTOL
attack speed: 0.6/s
range: 50m
damage: 35

ASSault RIFLE
attack speed: 0.3/s
range: 75m
damage: 105

SHOTGUN
attack speed: 0.6/s
range: 60m
damage: 80 (???)

SNIPER RIFLE
attack speed: 0.3/s
range: 110m
damage: 200

i'm not sure how accurate this is. the shotgun seems like a horrible weapon as it shoots as slow as a pistol and does less damage than an assault rifle. wtf!

also the sniper rifle looks like the best weapon overall. it shoots as quick as an assault rifle, and has better range and almost DOUBLE the damage. WOW!

you're reading attack speed wrong?
0.6 shots per second is twice as fast as 0.3 shots per second.
meaning pistol and shotgun are fast, assault rifle and sniper slow

this also makes them very easy to compare

Pistol 21 damage per second
AR 31.5 dps
Shotg 48 dps
sniper 60 dps

note that sniper dps is very theoretical, as they will one shot anything that isn't an alpha male

okay that makes sense then.

There is an issue and I made a post about it. Looks like gun ranges are calculated from the centerpoint of the building, not from edges. So if your building is 50m in size then all ranges are basically decreased by 50 and weapons become almost useless, right?

Correct me if I wrong.. It wasnt an issue in demo at all. Makes my own hood unplayable.
Anyone knows how to change these values to previous levels or maybe they are planning to improve this in future? Extremely dissapointing and restrictive.

What is the point to make whole world playable and then for some reason make not whole world actaully playable? ))
