Total Computer Crash
My PC crashes and has to restart. It's happened at least two or three times. After the previous update, it used to happen in-game. Now, its happening after quitting to desktop.

Only occurs while playing or quitting this game.

We're sorry for these issues. Could you send me your save file from the last gameplay where these issues appeared and the player log at contact@gameops.pl? Describe these issues (corrupted saves and lags) in the e-mail, add your specs and we will look into it. I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Never had a full crash yet....the quitting the game sometimes is wonky when it does not properly close but it does go to desktop rather than hard crash.....check your stuff....drivers and such...I know nvidia is driving me nuts with its constant updates lately (have a number of pc/laptops so I have to update them all haha)

This is a cpu heavy game. Software cannot hard lock a computer into shutting down, ever; it would crash your OS instead. Hence, the logical explanation is that you have a heating issue and that your computer is shutting down to protect itself when your delta temperature climb higher than 100C.

Are you playing on a laptop, of all things?

No, I'm using a desktop.

It might be something wrong with my computer instead then. Will check.

Will do.

Same here having major crashing today. have a medium to high spec pc so i know its not the pc. sent various crash reports to help solve it

Are you overheating? I had an old PC that would just reboot itself when the GPU or CPU overheated.

This is the most funny thing, you could have a $10,000 dollar pc, and it's gonna crash if the heating isn't proper, and it's something that can change at random.

For those getting blue screens, that can happen RARELY, most times that's going to be overheating, or bad spots in your ram, things that can just stop working at anytime.

RAM for instance has a lifespan of about 5 to 7 years, and that's WITHOUT overclocking, which any pc running XMP which is turned on by most pc builders IS overclocking, which can reduce lifespan, same with video card memory, and PC parts.

Average lifespan of cheap thermal paste, which most builders use to keep price down is 2 years, before it starts degrading, the best you can buy is about 10 years, once again, can reduce lifespan by OC, and running hotter.

Short story being, is it can ALWAYS be a pc problem, especially when it's not happening for the majority.

I get the impression that the game has poor memory handling. This will probably improve over time.

I have a dual Loop water cooled system with both the CPU and GPU using liquid metal. 2x 420mm Rads with 4x 140mm 3000rpm fans on each.

I've stress tested this repeated to refine the CPU undervolt and GPU OC and I've not had an issue with any other game in my library and there's a lot to choose from. My idle temps are 25-30°C on both CPU/GPU and my in game temps hit 70°C on the CPU max and 60°C on the GPU.

This isn't a heating issue in my case, my OS crashes, PC Immediately restarts, not even a BSOD.

My guess is it, the game does not like my CPU undervolt. But it's the only game that doesn't if so. I'm not going into BIOS to change it back and get worse performance across the board for a single game.

Refunding.

While all of the above is most likely true for particular cases I'm finding steam itself causing problems on my machine

"steamhelper" seems to conflict with this game somehow and crashes / demands attention to reload

also just the resource usage from having steam doing stuff (opening the new specials popup etc) in the background whenever it wants

I tried entering and exiting the game normally, average frame rate 25-30 fps (AMD R5 8500G + GIGABYTE RTX4060)

Hi, yesterday I had the same problem, when I exit the game properly, my computer crash.
Tried a second time and same thing. My save was buged, two missions doesnt working.
I tried to do a new save and my computer doesnt crash this time...
I think the problem is because of the save buged

I get BSOD occasionally from this game. No other game gives me a problem. am running a I7 cpu with 64gb of gaming ram and a EVGA hybrid GTX 1080 TI liquid cooled video card. Sometimes its a hour in and other times it takes several hours. I have deleted all saves and started over with same results. I play high end games with graphics and such that push the limitations without a problem. There has to be something in the coding or steam that is causing this

What is the error message you get on BSOD?
