Raider Mission Question

At a certain point while one squad is gathering, they will be held for ransom by Raiders.

I've already brought them 3 times the required supplies, but the mission seems stuck.

Anyone else experienced this?

I waited it out yesterday. The raiders de-spawned but the transmissions continued. My squad got back in their van w/o issue. 15m later the "bad guy" came on the radio and executed the hostages. But they weren't there, so...... Meh.

Actually, loading the savegame fixed it. Well kinda, it went straight to the fighting sequence. Early access so I'm sure they will sort it out eventually.

Meh....lol. Definitely a Negan vibe with the bad guy.

This is one of the mission that get u assult rifles, so just bring more squad to kill them

The point is, you cant give them enough... They'll just keep asking for more until you run out of man and supplies...
Just bring 3 armed squads inside the building and deal with them...

Just going to echo geo84 here: they will never stop asking for more supplies.

It's that whole maxim of if you pay them, they'll keep doing it. You only really have two choices: tell them off and lose the squad, or assemble a strike force and fight them. You might lose people in the fighting, but you will lose the squad otherwise.

Actually there is a third option: bring an armed squad and keep refusing and demanding your people first and when he starts counting do not pick fight and just let him get to three.

Interesting. He never does that for me. They get there and it goes straight to combat. Then again, the times I've tried it armed, I also left the food at home.

You don't have to bring food. Just don't pick the fight option or it will start the fight.

I just wipe them after they kill my squad, and then save the raiders later.

Same issue with me.....I think the issue was something to do with killing them outside or something.....but it stuck the event where nothing progressed....we went in and nothing happened the quest icon stayed on and nothing came of it.

IF ALL ELSE FAILS - Go to Console Command - there is a command to finish event quest if you have tried everything and nothing works....at least that way you can move onward....I did not know that in last two games where I just quit the game when it happened thinking that would screw up the game - which it does since they tend to not add a new event until current event is completed

I just sent 3 squads with no supplies and killed them. Didn't lose any of my people and gained several rifles.

Tried it, but instead of bringing supplies, I sent a unit it, lost it, they already had my best, reloaded searched all those buildings again, no scavenging, found them, agreed to give them supplies again, took my best 2 units in and wiped them instantly, got their guns and no losses. I will still save them when they need it, and don't hunt them down at their HQ. This way I still get their people.
