Not enough science buildings

There are not eough science buildings on my map. I searched 5 or 6 science buildings and that's all. There are also no science expeditions available. Is it some bug? Where to find science books?

If you have the research building, workers can make books. I think bit not 100% sure, some bigger buildings can have them. Or expeditions.

correct even cheating the book cost is way to high everything should cost no more that 3 books.

Checking a lot of big buildings but not successful. There are no scientific expeditions on my map.

i don't get why sniper rifles are after automatic rifles on the research tree. It should be parallel researchings.

If you aren't researching anything specific scientist in your research building create books.

If your research lab is big enough, with like 30+ people, they can create extra science points every few days.

You are just a little bad at math aren't you? With only 7 people in a research lab, you create extra science about every 3 hours. So, that's about 2.5-3 per day without having 30+ braindead researchers.

well the area I live in has schools and colleges nearby, so I looted alot of books, my research is maxed out lol You could also send squads outside your own tile to do some looting, some of the outside tiles got books they can bring back

i played over 100 days and dont know the science buildings can books by themself and yes, i have no workers in haha

Science tags spawn on schools, universities and libraries. That depends on the map.
We also spawn a few extra.
Science can be produced at the lab too, so it is not a must to scavenge science materials
