How to do expeditions work?

I sent my squad out in a big truck but all they do is just slide around on the map and nothing happens.

Once you've built an antenna, you should be able to click a POI on an expedition tile.

Okay because I click into the square and don't see any POIs when my squad arrives there, unless they're entirely random when they appear.

Yeah it's not working sadly. I direct the squad to the center of the tile and they just sit there and nothing happens.

Yeah it seems all of my objectives are bugged. I can't do the mission for the "send squad on expedition," I also just got the mission to save the raiders, and when I showed up and killed the horde nothing is happening.

I had the same issue just now, I sen a squad to an expedition tile and when they arrived, nothing would happen, they just stood there, I also tried sending them to other tiles, but they too didn't work.

So either its a bug or you're simply not allowed/supposed to do expeditions with vehicles. Do them on foot and it'll work.

Same here,my squad is just simply standing still and no progress is added furthermore no POI is visible

So yea you cant use vehicle but can go on foot. Also, if you send a vehicle, get out, get back in vehicle, then go back to your zone, 2 things happen. 1 is that I cant send anyone back in to get that tile, and second, if you tell your squad to leave your vehicle near the map borders, it makes it so you cant reenter your vehicle. Total game killer with both of those 2 things. Pretty much bricked that game for me........

I followed what you did (going on foot), yet my units still aren't getting anything, and they've been out since morning. All they've found so far are infected. How long until one begins getting items, I wonder?

Afternote: I tried bringing a Squad (on foot) into the expedition tile, after taking them out, and it seemed to work this time. However, when I later sent 5 squads into another expedition tile, it claimed it contained Books, Fuel, Food, and tools, yet after they 100% scavenged it, they got nothing in the process.

I have the exact same problems. I tried the objective tile, another one, sending a car, exiting the car, retenring the car, nothing works. Mr Rider, any way to fix that ? :)

I suppose my question is whether this is how it was intended to function. Like, did they intend for expeditions to be done on foot? Considering the distance I'd think not, but ya never know I suppose unless you ask lol.

I was just able to pass this, but not sure how. Like others when I first got the objective clicking it did nothing, my squad would just drive to the 'fog' of the new tile and get stuck on an invisible wall. I gave up but a few days later tried again and it worked as intended, I think? They drove to the spot, looted...4 cans of food, and lost the car because of the building was infected? Seemed janky but it gave me a mission complete.
