any way to reduce lag ?
Hi, I started my first game few minutes ago but I can't play, to much lag, I tried to turn off anti-aliasing, V-Sync and all graphism to minimal settings and have seen a slight improvement but it's still not playable (~15 fps). I Have 16Go (3200 MHz) of ram, R7 5800 and a RTX3060, this should be more than enough to play this game... any hint ?
Thanks for the help

Do you have on board video? Have you checked that the RTX card is the one running with the game?

the rtx card is indeed the one running as I don't have an integrated graphic card, also I started a new game and it was playable (~35 fps) but still not what I hopped, I don't have foutage, but i'll think of it next time, thanks.

Though you really do have to make a choice, the open beta gets all the updates first, but can be more unstable than the main branch.
I'll check that, thx

Hard to pinpoint the exact reason for it, as performance might be influenced by numerous factors, from bugs, through memory issues, to other software installed locally. Please send us a bug report titled 'FPS DROP' so we can look into your game logs.

probably he has no windows updates ,,and his directX is not working

I've done all required update for my system to work properly ^^ BIOS, Windows, drivers and so on. I also can play any other game fine, RL, borderland 3 at least 120 fps without a single lag.
This game is still under development and any dev know how annoying performance issue are to solve, i'll just be patient. I have no issue when the game start, but after an hour of gameplay, as hordes and peoples keep coming, bugs are more frequent and make the game unplayable, I need to spam every order I give to my squad for them to do so and I have fps drop, I've never crashed though.
Anyway, it's a good game, we just need to give them time to improve it, I have fun playing it.

Look up a program called ultimate windows tweaker. it's free.

When you open it go to performance portion
Turn Off Search Indexer,
Disable Smooth Scrolling,
Disable Edge Tab Preloading,
Disable Tablet Input Service,
Disable Windows Secrity Center Service,
Disable Prefetch,
Disable Super Fetch,
and Disable Microsoft Edge Preloading.

Boom 20-35% system performance increase.

It come pre-enabled when you install Windows. The almost totality of Windows users never even open their settings...
