Modding Support For the Future?
Hello, I'm very interested in the modding potential for this game! I've poked around a bit and found the namelists for example. I was also considering the possibility of making fanmade voice translations for the story mode and radio calls so my IFZ doesnt speak american english when they are in the middle of Sweden for example.

But also other things like adding POI types, maybe other resrouces etc.

Do you think that modding support will ever be a possibility, apart from maps? I think that could really help the game grow over time. I also just think modding is fun lol.

Mods add more playability and user customization to make the game more fun to play. Unless you (dev) are providing a ton of content and updates EVERY WEEK, your game is going to lose interest and fall off the radar by the time u decide to add support. If its not a priority, make it one lol..
Many mods won't be necessary as we implement new features and QoL along the development, so creating modding tools now is just excess work, and we can really use this time to deliver you the complete game faster. Hard to pinpoint the exact time now.

I hope it'll be possible to mod as much as possible. At least for now I'm positive beyond any statements by the team because it makes absolutely sense in a financial perspective to get a lot of content for minimal investment.

I once straight up asked about voice translations & was told upfront there will not be other voice acting than american English - so that would be the a natural thing for the community to be able to do, ideally. My microphone is not best quality, but I would be available for Alemannic (specifically: Swiss, plateau). Going with my grandmother, I could plausibly even get Egerlandic for voice acting (that's Bohemian-German, Sudeten).

Yeah that would be amazing. Or just being able to add your own textures, road signs, etc. I don't expect the devs to do every local road sign set, that would be insane. But for modders it would be very viable, etc. So many small things

At some point we will probably enable more modding support, but it's not our priority right now ;)

Very fair, and it shouldn't be! But glad to hear it's at least being considered and thought about! Really love the game so far, cant wait to see what the finished game will be like!
